Founder & Principal
Andrew Feldman (he/him) is a communications strategist and founder of Feldman Strategies LLC. A firm with a record of delivering results for clients ranging from major progressive organizations and non-profits to congressional candidates and prime ministers. In 2015, Feldman was recognized for his work and named a “Rising Star” by Campaigns and Elections magazine – a prestigious honor for up-and-coming political professionals.
Currently, Feldman works with progressive organizations to move their agenda forward on a national stage. He specializes in breaking through crowded media landscapes and the 24-hour news cycle to ensure these organizations’ stories are heard.
He is proud to work with leading labor unions including the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) and the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), where he uses his expertise to enhance the media coverage and public relations strategy of both women led organizations.
In addition to his work with organized labor, Feldman is privileged to advise and execute media relations and communications strategy for a number of other progressive organizations, including Planned Parenthood, Michigan Democratic Party, Committee to Protect Health Care, Democracy Forward, and Rock the Vote.
Additionally, during the 2016 primaries Feldman worked with SEIU, one of the largest unions in the country, to develop and execute the earned media strategy around their primary independent expenditure program.
Prior to founding Feldman Strategies, Feldman served as the Political Director to John Delaney’s 2012 congressional campaign, one of the most competitive congressional races in the country that year. Feldman’s work played a large part in the resulting victory, which unseated a 20-year Republican incumbent. Before serving as the Delaney campaign’s political director, Feldman spent several years working on campaigns ranging from city council to the presidency of the United States. He also worked in government, most notably doing advance work for the Office of the Vice President and in the private sector for Devine Mulvey and Rasky Baerlein Strategic Communication, leading media and public relations firms.
Feldman is a frequent political commentator and can be seen regularly as a Democratic Strategist on Fox Business and The Hill TV. He graduated from The George Washington University’s School of Media and Public Affairs with a BA in Political Communication and lives in Washington, DC with his wife Megan and their Havanese dog, Nash.
Emma Thomas (she/her) is Director at Feldman Strategies, where she applies her expertise in media relations, campaign organizing, and public affairs to lead clients on the implementation of strategic communications initiatives and to elevate their profiles in the media.
She previously co-led BerlinRosen’s reproductive health, rights, and justice portfolio and voting rights work, including working on the federal repeal of the Helms and Hyde Amendments. Through this work, she secured thought leadership opportunities for statewide political leaders and led multi-organizational coalitions in the paid leave and reproductive rights spaces. Emma also developed, coordinated, and executed the national communications strategies for the most recent abortion rights cases that have come before the US Supreme Court.
Ahead of the 2020 elections, Emma advised on the development and launch of the Voter Protection Program, working with state elected leaders, law enforcement, and legal experts to protect and defend every person’s right to vote.
Emma also has experience working crisis communications for individuals and national organizations, as well as digital media expertise in a range of paid and organic markets. Prior to BerlinRosen, Emma worked at Avalere Health where she advised health providers, policymakers, and patient advocacy groups on strategic communications plans to engage with key stakeholders.

Anna Breedlove (she/her) is an Associate Director at Feldman Strategies, where she applies her expertise in high-stakes progressive campaign communication to translate complex policy issues into compelling narratives that move audiences and help clients win.
Anna joined the Feldman Strategies team straight from the campaign trail, having served in senior communication roles for two of the most watched statewide races across the country in the last two years. Most recently, she was the Communications Director for the Kentucky Democratic Party crafting the Party’s messaging for Governor Beshear’s impressive re-election. A win that the Washington Post called “a stark victory in a state Trump won by 26 points” and one that The NY Times called “a noteworthy victory for a Democrat in a deeply conservative state.” During the 2022 midterms, Anna served as Deputy Communications Director for Val Demings U.S. Senate Campaign in her home state of Florida. In addition to playing a key role in managing the full communications team and executing earned media events, she developed and implemented communication plans for more than 150 campaign surrogates.
Prior to these campaign communications roles she honed her progressive messaging skills by immersing herself in all aspects of local campaigns from digital to field. This included flipping a state house seat—electing the first openly queer woman to the Florida legislature— and serving in a key leadership role at the Florida democratic digital firm, Statecraft Digital, where she worked on more than 35 races from school board to state attorney.
Prior to her career in progressive politics, Anna worked for a restorative justice pilot program in San Diego with a mission of getting children out of the juvenile justice system and even worked for a time as a professional photographer in Maui.
Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts from Florida State University and a Masters of Science in International Relations from the University of Edinburgh. While a frequent flier to Washington, DC, Anna currently resides in sunny St. Petersburg, FL with her husband and dogs Oban, Howie, and Whinnie.
